The Mobility, Logistics and Automotive Technology Research Group (MOBI) is located at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and is a leader in electric & hybrid vehicle technologies and in socio-economic evaluations for urban mobility & sustainable logistics. With a multidisciplinary team of more than 110 experts, it studies and develops the transition towards a more sustainable urban mobility and logistics system with the goal to achieve concrete and long-lasting positive socio-economic and environmental impacts.
VUB – MOBI leads the work package where a simulation framework will be set up to develop energy and thermal management strategies of connected battery electric vehicles. MOBI will deliver some of the sub-system models for the simulation and focus on the development of thermal management strategies. MOBI will also the ecological and economic assessment of the demonstrator vehicles.
